Privacy is the product. Here's what we do to protect your files — and what we log.
Your own isolated space
Each account stores its files in its own space, separate from other users. The connection between your phone or browser and Mi Nube is always encrypted (HTTPS).
Protect your account
- Two-step verification with an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy and others) and 8 recovery codes.
- Email alert every time someone signs in, with date, IP and device.
- Automatic throttling of password-guessing attempts.
- Fingerprint or PIN lock when opening the Android app.
Hidden and password-protected folders
Hide a folder so it doesn't show up in the list, or give it its own password, different from your account's. Protected folders can't be shared by link either.
If something goes wrong
- Trash: deleted items can be restored for 30 days.
- Daily backups of each account's server.
No ads, no tracking
We don't show ads, don't sell data and don't use tracking pixels. Visits to this website are counted with our own system, without cookies or third parties.
What we do log
For security we log your account activity: sign-ins (date, IP and device), uploads, downloads and shared links. That log is deleted automatically after 180 days. Full details are in the privacy policy.
Your account, your call
You can delete your account anytime from the app or the web: the account, your files and their backups are deleted right away.
